This month has been taken over with custom designs for me. I posted on my instagram account (@woodlandpapercuts) sketches that were rejected, and got nice comments on them. Got me thinking of previous custom work I did, and how it turned out.
With custom designs I always try to get as much information as I can from my client before I start sketching. Still, sometimes I don't nail it on the first try and the digital preview is used to flesh out the clients' vision of what they really want their ketubah to look like.
Above and below are a selection of sketches that were rejected by the clients. No worries, the resulting ketubot were much better!
